The Challenge:

Unreliable machinery component.

The key component of a very important piece of farm machinery was becoming hugely unreliable and over time it had begun to leak. The staff luckily got it patched up temporarily, long enough for the Morrison Agri team to come out and repair it.

The Morrison Agri Solutions:

Overnight replacement with new system.

Logistically, as this work could only be carried out between milkings, the team worked overnight to complete this repair. Turning up at 5 pm and finishing before the first milking at 4 am, the team of three removed the old system, disconnected and replaced the power outlets, and installed and re-wired the new system. They ensured the system was functioning and running correctly meaning a smooth transition into the early morning milking routine. The following night the Morrison team arrived back just to tidy up the aesthetics of the machine, ensuring it was nice and presentable.

The Outcomes:

Smooth transition, new and reliable system.

Brilliant result. Other than running a new machine the milking staff didn’t notice any difference from normal operations. As it was installed out of normal milking hours the team was able to turn up and crack on, as usual, the next morning with no interruption to normal operations. An aged and old system, is now new and reliable, removing a big headache for the farmer and his staff.
